Summary:
The primary function of the Behavior Consultant/Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) is to work with the ABA Clinical Director and team of Behavior Health Technicians to plan, develop, and monitor a variety of ABA programs designed to meet the needs of clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
The BC/BCBA also consults and collaborates with team members and provides ongoing training and direct supervision to Behavior Health Technicians.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Administers, conducts, evaluates and supervises the implementation of behavioral assessment, functional assessment and skills assessment Develops individualized goals and objectives for home, community, and center-based programs and designs behavior support plans based on functional assessment data Ensures appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented to allow for the continual evaluation of behavior plans and the achievement of individual goals and objectives Trains Behavior Health Technicians on the proper implementation of ABA programs and behavior plans, data collection systems and all necessary monitoring and reporting systems Is responsible for ongoing individual program oversight and conducting weekly supervision meetings with Behavior Health Technicians Meets regularly with Clinical Director and notifies her/him immediately of issues impacting client's progress Completes all necessary documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner as requested by the Clinical Director Assist in obtaining authorizations for services Oversees and supervises the attendance and hourly compliance of Behavior Health Technicians as needed Additional responsibilities may be assigned and/or are subject to change based on regulations changes and company standards MINIMUM EDUCATION/
Qualifications:
Master's degree in behavior analysis, special education, psychology, social work, speech and language pathology, or related field PA Behavior Specialist License in good standing BENEFITS OF WORKING WITH GYM JAM THERAPEUTICS:
